Black Bear Lodge – Woodsy Cabin in Knoxville

Welcome to the Black Bear Lodge! Relax and unwind in our beautiful cabin in the woods. You’ll love the privacy and the location — just 5 minutes from Turkey Creek and 20 minutes from downtown Knoxville and UT. Most rentals are in residential neighborhoods, but ours is tucked in the woods, so you can enjoy the outdoors with the convenience of city life close by.

We’re coffee lovers who roast our own green coffee beans, and we’re happy to provide a jar of freshly roasted coffee on request.

The space

The covered porch features a swinging bed, outdoor seating and a front-row seat to the birds — we spoil them with bird houses, bird baths and feeders. In the evening, gather around the campfire area to roast marshmallows.

The kitchen and bathrooms are brand new, including a recently upgraded master bathroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook a family meal. Our beds have memory foam toppers with cooling mattress covers, and every bedroom has blackout curtains.

• Bedroom 1: king bed
• Bedroom 2: king bed
• Bedroom 3: queen bed
• Bedroom 4: four single beds

Guest access

You’ll have the whole cabin. There’s parking for 6–8 vehicles on our gravel driveway — no special tires or 4-wheel drive needed, a regular car is fine. Trailers are welcome; you can turn around at the concrete pad halfway down the driveway. We’ll send photos of the driveway with your check-in instructions.
